When veteran journalists of the time are asked about the most shocking news they have come across in their careers, most of them speak about the tragic death of Rajiv Gandhi.

30 years ago, on this day, the youngest prime minister of India was brutally killed into ashes.

A death marked in the history of India with utmost grief. Most of us have grown up listening to the tales of tears shed by our grandparents as they couldn’t bear with the loss of their dearest prime minister, which might sound very strange in these times.

The death gave birth to one of the strongest widows the world have ever seen!
Saving husband’s assassin from the death sentence and helping her reunite with her child, who would have been otherwise turned into an orphan!

The words in my vocabulary box would not do justice if I attempt to describe the purity of her golden heart.

On the 30th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, looking closer to the not-so-discussed version of the Class lady herself.
